Luminox
Luminox came into existence in 1989. Barry Cohen, a watch producer, came across a Swiss self-powered illumination system. He believed that this system could be used to make the dial of a watch more readable.
Luminox Navy Seal is the one watch that made Luminox popular. It was developed especially for officers on night-time missions. Soon after, the US Air Force approached the company, asking for the development of a pilot watch.
The light technology that the company uses is one of its most distinctive features. Luminox’s self-powered illumination (LLT) works in complete darkness, letting the wearer read the watch effortlessly.
Today, Luminox produces specialized watches for the needs of every individual. Its Deep Dive series is created especially for underwater usage with its water resistance mark being 500M. The Blackbird series is the result of collaboration with Lockheed Martin. Vajoux timepieces come with elegant design and reliable movement.
