Tsovet
This Tsovet watch brand is young, since it came into existence only in 2008. Each design has a history and a personal element connected to it.
David Bonaventure is the person behind the brand. He lacks any watch-making training and the first designs he created focused on functionality. Bonaventure’s designs were influenced by his collection of vintage Russian timepieces, aerospace bolts and gauges.
Tsovet watches are relatively big, having easy to read dials and a masculine feel to them. Designs are mostly inspired by natural elements. Bonaventure relied entirely on the use of traditional materials, combining those with innovative watch-making technologies.
The key philosophy connected to Tsovet timepiece creation is that the pieces have to be just as durable as the natural materials used in their making.
The best selling Tsovet line is probably the SVT-AT76, which contains five models and a mechanical limited edition watch. Tsovet watches have a military feel to them but are at the same time trendy and stylish.
